Kundali Awakening-The awakening of Chakras

Kundali Awakening-The awakening of Chakras

Here in this article I will explain you Kundalini awakening also known as Chakra Awakening. Human body contains many secrets those are not yet solved or even discovered by scientist. But the ancient sages discovered all those and the body chakras are one of them.

What are Chakras

Chakras are the vital parts of body and have their own different properties. There are seven chakras in human body naming.
  1. The crown chakra (Sahasrara)
  2. The brow chakra (Ajna)
  3. The throat chakra (Vishuddha)
  4. The heart Chakra (Anahata)
  5. The solar plexus chakra (Manipura)
  6. The sacral chakra (Swadhisthana)
  7. The root chakra (Muladhara)

What is Kundalani

Kundalani is small energy thread in binded form like a snake near root chakra in our body and this state is called the sleeping stage of kundalini but through proper practices the kundalini awakes and rise above the body passing through different chakras of body. This stage is called kundalani awakening and the person recieves many physical and spiritual powers and finally gets enlightment.

Steps of Kundalani or chakra awakening

Chakra awakening is same as climbing on a building through stairs. The following are the eight steps chakra awakening.
  1. Yama – code of conduct
  2. Niyama – religious observances, commitments to practice, such as study and devotion
  3. Āsana – to integrate mind and body through physical activity
  4. Pranayama – control on breath
  5. Pratyahara – widrawal of senses from the material world.
  6. Dharana – concentrating the mind on self
  7. Dhyana – dhyana means meditating
  8. Samādhi – this is the final state when a person reaches in superconcious and receives enlightment
In later article we will discuss kundalani awakening in brief. Till than good bye.

Mantra from vedas--Motion of Planets (Rigveda10.149.1 and Rigveda 8.12.28)

There are several mantras in vedas that describes the motion of Sun, earth, moon and other planets. I will give you some info about them. Here is a mantra from Rigveda that explains the gravitational attraction between planets and the sun

Verse---Savita Yantraih Prithiveem Aramnaat Dyaam Andahat Atoorte Baddham Ashwam Iv Adhukshat (10.149.1)

“The sun has tied Earth and other planets through attraction and moves them around itself as if a trainer moves newly trained horses around itself holding their reins.”-- Rigveda10.149.1

Word to word translation
Savita = Sun
Yantraih = through reins
Prithiveem = Earth
Aramnaat = Ties
Dyaam Andahat = Other planets in sky as well
Atoorte = Unbreakable
Baddham = Holds
Ashwam Iv Adhukshat = Like horses

Very clearly, the mantra explains that sun is center of solar system and planets (including earth) move in a closed-loop path around it.
The second one Rigveda 8.12.28 describes the motion of planet

Verse--Yada Te Haryataa Hari Vaavridhate Divedive Vishwa Bhuvani Aditte Yemire—(Rigveda 8.12.28)

Meaning--“All planets remain stable because as they come closer to sun due to attraction, their speed of coming closer increases proportionately.”

Word to word translation
Yada Te = When they
Haryataa = Come closer through attraction
Hari = Closeness
Vaavridhate = Increases proportionately
Divedive = continuously
Vishwa Bhuvani = planets of the world
Aditte = eventually
Yemire = remain stable
(The reference to sun comes from rest of the Mantras in this Sukta before and after this mantra)

The mantra clearly states that:
1. Motion of planets around sun is not circular, even though sun is the central force causing planets to move (Refer previous mantra 10.149.1)
2. Motion of planets is such that the Velocity of planets follows inverse relation with the distance between planet and sun.

Later we will see the motion of planets and other astronomical facts such as ecllipse etc in the vedas. Till than have a good time.

Swami Vivekanand: Why we disagree

In Sept 1893 Swami Vivekanand went to world parliament of religion, on the second day of parliament he was asked in stage to deliever something on “why we disagree”.Now here is the reply in his words I will tell you a little story. You have heard the eloquent speaker who has just finished say, “Let us cease from abusing each other,” and he was very sorry that there should be always so much variance. But I think I should tell you a story which would illustrate the cause of this variance. A frog lived in a well. It had lived there for a long time. It was born there and brought up there, and yet was a little, small frog. Of course the evolutionists were not there then to tell us whether the frog lost its eyes or not, but, for our story’s sake, we must take it for granted that it had its eyes, and that it every day cleansed the water of all the worms and bacilli that lived in it with an energy that would do credit to our modern bacteriologists. In this way it went on and became a little sleek and fat. Well, one day another frog that lived in the sea came and fell into the well. “Where are you from?” “I am from the sea.” “The sea! How big is that? Is it as big as my well?” and he took a leap from one side of the well to the other. “My friend,” said the frog of the sea, “how do you compare the sea with your little well?” Then the frog took another leap and asked, “Is your sea so big?” “What nonsense you speak, to compare the sea with your well!” “Well, then,” said the frog of the well, “nothing can be bigger than my well; there can be nothing bigger than this; this fellow is a liar, so turn him out.” That has been the difficulty all the while. I am a Hindu. I am sitting in my own little well and thinking that the whole world is my little well. The Christian sits in his little well and thinks the whole world is his well. The Mohammedan sits in his little well and thinks that is the whole world. have to thank you of America for the great attempt you are making to break down the barriers of this little world of ours, and hope that, in the future, the Lord will help you to accomplish your purpose.

Message

So this was the story but did you understand the core message of Swami Vivekanad? The message was simple but strong and takes the world towards universal brotherhood. The knowledge is infinite and we should be always ready to take the knowledge, no matter from where it comes and on other hand should give up whatever seems to be false. The situation of many people today is same as that frog of well. We are not ready to accept the truth due to our ego or any other reason. We are sitting in our own little well and thinks that the world is our well. Knowledge is always better than ignorance so we should come out from the well of ignorance and search for the ocean of knowledge.

Perform Your Duties

“There was never a time when I you or these people do not exist.
Wise do not grieve for living or dead”

This verse is taken from holy Gita. In the battlefield Arjuna looking his uncles, grandfathers, brothers, nephews against him in battlefield he was grieved and decided not to fight and simply surrender to them.

Than Krishna said to Arjuna-
O Arjuna you are a warrior and your duty is to fight against the false. You cannot run from your respective duties.

Arjuna said to Krishna that how can he fight against his own teacher and family member, he will not do this terrible act even if he gets three worlds.

Than Krishna said- “There was never a time when I, you or these people do not exist nor we will cease to exist in future.”

Meaning here is that one should always perform his duties and this time he was in battlefield and hence his duty was to fight against evil even the people against him in battlefield was his family or his teachers.

You are soul and not the body and because soul just changes body after body hence today they are your teacher or family but in past you may be there teacher or elder. If you think that by fighting against them you will kill them in battle than you are wrong because soul is immortal and you cannot destroy indestructible soul. It always existed and will always exist and hence you should not grieve for indestructible soul and fight for the reestablishment of truth.

Mother

According to ancient Indian philosophy, there are at least six kinds of mother: --
  • Mother who gave birth to us.
  • Mother who brought us up, Often mother who gives birth also brings us up but it is not necessary in every case and hence who brings us up is a mother.
  • Mother who is source of our life. Those powers of nature which are feminine in nature.
  • Mother who holds us as we are. Our motherland, where we are born and grow. which feeds us without any condition.
  • Mother who feeds us. The Cow who feeds us with milk throughout our life.
  • One who is seen as a mother by others: Our ‘Guru’ (Teacher) mother, our friend’s mother, any woman who is a mother, any elderly lady etc.

Some Versus from Holy Gita- About “Atma” (Soul)

  1. Wise grieve neither for the living nor for the death. !
  2. Since there was never a time when I, you or these kings did not exist, nor shall we ever cease to exist in the future. !
  3. Just as soul acquires a childhood body, a youth body and an old age body during this life similarly soul acquires another body after death. The wise are not deluded by this. !
  4. Contacts of senses with sense object give rise to the heat and cold, pain and pleasure. They are impermanent and transitory. Therefore endure them. !
  5. A calm person who is not affected by these feelings is steady in pain and pleasure and becomes fit for immortality. !
  6. Know that by which all this universe is pervaded, to be indestructible. No one can destroy indestructible (Soul). !
  7. Those who thinks that soul is slayer and those who think that soul is slain, both are ignorant because soul neither slays and nor in slain. !
  8. Soul is never born nor it dies, nor having been it will cease to exist again. It is unborn, eternal, permanent and primeval. It cannot be destroyed when the body is destroyed. !
  9. Just as person puts on new garments, similarly soul acquires new bodies after casting away the old bodies. !
  10. Weapon do not cut this soul, fire does not burn it, water does not make it wet and the wind does not make it dry. !
  11. Soul is said to be unmanifest, unthinkable and unchangeable. !
  12. Death is certain for one who is born and birth is certain for one who dies. !
  13. ome look this soul as a wonder, another describes it as wonder and others hear it as wonder. Even after hearing about it no one actually knows. !
  14. Souls dwells in the body of all is eternally indestructible. Therefore you should not mourn. !

Who is god and where does god live? Is god male or female?

Many people ask the same question, many people asked me that if they haven’t seen the god, how can they believe that god exists. Today I will give you the answer of all these question. So let’s start -

who is god?

God is eternal, without any form (formless), conscious, all pervading, cause of universe. God is one without beginning  or end.

Where does god live?

Simply god is everywhere. God is present at earth, at moon, at sun, at far solar system and galaxies, god is everywhere from smallest part of an atom to whole universe. Simply you can say that countless creations of not only earth but whole universe resides on god and god resides on them.
 Can you see the air with your eyes? You can’t. You only experience air with your senses and similarly one can experience god with self realization. About self realization I will write in my other article.

Is god male or female?

As I already said that god is formless so you cannot categorize god in male or female. Male and female are created by god through the long process of evolution for continuity of creation.

Now we shall discuss some versus from Vedas and Vedanta philosophy to understand the nature of god

 “Janmadvasvavatah”

God is generator, organizer and destroyer of universe.

 “Ishaa Vasvaamidam sarvam”

God resides in whole Universe- Yajurveda (40/1)

“Aa Varivarti Bhuvaneshvantah”

God is one whose actions, attributes and nature are nothing but truth, one without a second. God is all knowledgeable, omnipresent and eternal without any beginning or end. Nature of god is imperishable, merciful, pure, blissful, unchangeable, incomparable, unborn- Rigveda(1-164-31)
